Wand Holder

For all your wand-holding needs!

SAFETY NOTE: If this is for a kids' costume, I strongly recommend NOT making this out of leather, but instead using paper or cardstock. If somebody falls, it's best for the holder to break.

SUGGESTION: Hunt for pictures of fancy leather working. Draw designs with brown marker before cutting out.

Those old brown paper grocery bags will do nicely for raw material. Glue 2 layers together with white glue.

1. Glue piece F over piece G. NOTE: This holder hangs on LEFT hip, as is typical for a right-hander who "cross-draws". For a lefty who draws from the RIGHT hip, be sure to reverse piece F.

2. Glue piece G into a tube.

3. Glue pieces A, B, and C onto G.

4. Make sure you have *two* copies of piece D. Glue them together. Do the next step while that bond is still wet.

5. Glue the base of the "T" of piece D onto the bottom of piece G.

6. Glue the top bar of the "T" of piece D onto piece G.
